Ken Gurrola is KBRO’s General Counsel and a proud member of Hispanic (Mexican-American) and Native American (Navajo) communities.
Before joining KBRO, Mr. Gurrola served as Audit Vice President for JPMorgan Chase where he represented the firm before FINRA, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Reserve regarding compliance and audit issues concerning all lines of business. His expertise includes regulatory compliance (securities, BSA/AML, FINRA, tax), risk management, finance and accounting. He has advised 52% of private equity firms with $2+ billion AUM at Ernst & Young (Manager), KPMG (Sr. Manager), and Deloitte & Touche (Sr. Associate).
Mr. Gurrola connects 1,000+ active contacts for KBRO and Cornell. Mr. Gurrola serves on boards for Cornell University Council (adjunct to the Board of Trustees), Cornell Mosaic (diversity and inclusion) and Cornell Federation (representing 240,000+ alumni globally). Mr. Gurrola received a B.A from UCLA, an M.B.A. from Cornell and a J.D. from UC Hastings. Mr. Gurrola is a member of the New York and California state bars.
