A co-founder of Kaufman Bros., L.P., Mr. Kaufman is a banker by practice while being a technologist and mathematician at heart.

Prior to Kaufman Bros., Mr. Kaufman was vice president of Barington Capital Group, a New York-based, full-service investment bank. He began his banking career at Volpe, Welty & Co., where he served as a senior financial analyst and MIS manager.

Mr. Kaufman received an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree in computer science and mathematics from Emory University.
