An initial investor in Kaufman Bros., L.P. since its inception in 1995, Mr. Lorenzo is an accomplished financial services executive and money manager. His investment success is based on discipline and rigorous financial analysis, primarily in the technology, media and telecom (TMT) sectors.

His vision is to provide unparalleled financial services to entrepreneurs, institutional investors, trading partners and the local communities we serve.

He drives the firm’s focus by assisting entrepreneurs in growing their businesses, facilitating our clients’ search for superior investment performance, serving our employees’ aspirations for greatness and supporting our communities’ need for development and responsible business leadership.

Mr. Lorenzo’s strategy is to further accelerate growth of one of the nation’s largest minority-owned/operated investment banks and broker-dealers by leveraging the firm’s strong reputation for excellence in research, investment banking, and securities trade execution services in the TMT and Green Technology sectors.

Mr. Lorenzo has over 30 years of business leadership experience, including over 20 years in Wall Street firms and over 10 years at technology companies. He brings 5,000+ industry and buy-side contacts and 15 years of positive alpha from hedge fund and portfolio management. Born in the Dominican Republic, he holds an engineering degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard University.
